Research and Booking
Start by researching the type of motorhome rental and selecting one that best suits your needs in terms of motorhome size, facilities, and budget. Once you have chosen a company, you can book the motorhome online or over the phone.
Documentation
You will be required to provide certain documentation such as your driver’s license, proof of address, and possibly additional identification as per the company’s requirements.
Payment
You’ll need to make payment for the rental period or pay any balances due which may include any motorhome extras you decide upon while you are here.
Walkthrough
Upon arrival at the rental location, you will typically receive a walkthrough on all the features of the motorhome and how to operate them including its things such as water supply, electricity hook-ups, waste disposal systems, driving instructions etc.
Inspection
A walk-through inspection of the vehicle is usually conducted before departure to note any existing damages or issues.
Finalise the booking
You may need to sign a contract outlining the terms and conditions of hire including insurance coverage details and also ensure payment has been made in full.
During your trip:
Ensure that you adhere to any mileage restrictions or fuel policies outlined in your agreement.
Abide by campground rules if staying overnight at designated locations.
Keep track of scheduled return timings so that you can return it within stipulated timelines.
Take good care of it during use so that it is returned in good condition.
